I Don't Know If I'll Make it Back to My Ship
Many people believe they won't have enough time in port (Ketchikan) to make a charter. Most of the time they are wrong. You need a total of 6 hours in port. For example, if your cruise says it'll dock at 8 AM and leave at 2 PM you will be able to make a 4 four charter from 9 AM to 1 PM. The four hour charter is our most popular trip.
At Svenson Sportfishing, we have never let a cruise line guest miss their ship. In fact, we can guarantee you we will leave you enough time to get back to your ship. You can check out the 2017 cruise ship schedule here.
Knowing Which Fish You'll Catch
We have made simple charts for both halibut and salmon fishing in Ketchikan, Alaska. You can find salmon here. You can find halibut here.
Your cab driver will prearrange a time to pick your party up that allows for maximum fishing time and to get you back to your ship on time for departure.
If you book online directly through http://www.svensonsportfishing.com can save you hundreds of dollars. Purchasing a charter while on a cruise ship will allow the cruise line to sell them at a 33%+ mark up. This happens because the cruise ship needs its cut. Booking online will eliminate the cruise ship cut.
